Barnhill Building Group and NCDOL Partnership

On Wednesday, January 14th a significant partnership was formed between the Occupational Safety and Health Division (OSH) of the North Carolina Department of Labor (NCDOL) and Barnhill Building Group for the Highline Glenwood at The Creamery project. This was a monumental day to celebrate such a strong commitment to the gold standard of construction safety for Barnhill and its subcontractors. This agreement reinforces Barnhill’s mission to put worker safety first before all else.

At 37 stories in the sky, this mixed-use high-rise isn’t just a building but is set to become the city’s tallest residential tower, forever changing the Raleigh skyline. Rising from the historic foundation of the old Pine State Creamery factory, Highline Glenwood will deliver premium residential space and dynamic retail spaces right in the heart of the city.

The value of this partnership stands on its priority to work together to reduce injuries and illnesses on the job site. It emphasizes a desire to work cooperatively towards this common goal and to achieve a better understanding of potential hazards and measures to control or eliminate them.

This partnership’s success is critical and will not be taken lightly. Barnhill’s unwavering commitment to safety is not just a promise, but the cornerstone of all logistical and staffing operations. This dedication ensures a safer working environment for all involved in the Highline Glenwood at The Creamery construction project.
