Barnhill partnered with Guilford County Schools to construct Foust Elementary School, creating a modern educational campus designed to support collaborative learning, student engagement, and flexible instruction. The new facility provides innovative learning environments that encourage creativity, communication, and academic success while serving the growing Greensboro community.

DETAILS: The new elementary school features flexible classrooms, collaborative learning commons, media spaces, a cafeteria, outdoor learning environments, administrative offices, and secure student gathering areas. The facility incorporates abundant natural daylight, technology-rich instructional spaces, and flexible furnishings that support multiple teaching styles while enhancing the overall student experience.

SCOPE OF WORK: Barnhill provided comprehensive construction management services including site development, classroom construction, collaborative learning environments, media center, cafeteria, administrative offices, student commons, outdoor learning areas, building systems, utilities, parking, sidewalks, landscaping, and supporting campus infrastructure.

SOLUTION: The completed campus provides Guilford County Schools with a forward-thinking elementary school that promotes collaboration, creativity, and student achievement through flexible educational spaces designed to adapt to evolving instructional needs for years to come.
