Innovative High School
The 50,000-square-foot facility is located on the campus of Blue Ridge Community College and is a combination of Henderson County Public Schools’ existing Henderson County Career Academy at the Balfour Education Center and the Henderson County Early College High School. The school serves as a model of community, college, and public school system partnership for the state of North Carolina. Serving more than 500 students, the school provides access to Blue Ridge Community College’s instructors and facilities.
