Barnhill partnered with Henderson County Public Schools to construct the new Edneyville Elementary School, delivering a modern educational environment designed to inspire learning, collaboration, and student success. The two-story facility provides flexible instructional spaces, abundant natural daylight, and shared learning environments that support today’s educational model while serving the Henderson County community for generations.
DETAILS: The approximately 87,000-square-foot school accommodates more than 700 students and includes classrooms, collaborative learning commons, a media center, cafeteria, administration offices, and a multipurpose gymnasium. The building’s open design, extensive glazing, and warm natural materials create an inviting atmosphere that encourages creativity, engagement, and student interaction throughout the campus.
SCOPE OF WORK: Barnhill provided comprehensive construction management services for the new elementary school, including site development, structural systems, classrooms, collaborative learning environments, media center, administration offices, cafeteria, gymnasium, building systems, parking, sidewalks, landscaping, and supporting campus infrastructure.
