Beaverdam Elementary School
Barnhill constructed the 102,598-square-foot Beaverdam Elementary School for Wake County Public School System in Raleigh, North Carolina. Delivered using the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) method, the new school features modern classrooms, collaborative learning spaces, a media center, gymnasium, cafeteria, administrative offices, and site improvements designed to support a growing student population.
DETAILS: The project included construction of a new elementary school featuring classrooms, a media center, cafeteria, gymnasium, administrative offices, student support spaces, and outdoor learning and recreation areas on a fully developed campus.
SCOPE OF WORK: Barnhill served as the Construction Manager at Risk, providing preconstruction and construction services including site development, utilities, concrete, masonry, structural steel, roofing, interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and complete campus improvements.
SOLUTION: Barnhill delivered a safe, modern learning environment designed to meet the educational needs of Wake County students. Through proactive coordination and quality-focused construction, the project was completed to support long-term flexibility, durability, and student success.
