Davidson County Courthouse
The Davidson County Courthouse Addition & Renovation project consisted of a new addition (76,100 SF) and renovation (9,500 SF) of the existing County Courthouse Facility. The addition and renovation expanded current court facilities, District & Superior court judge offices and courtrooms, guardian Ad Litem, District Attorney, Clerk of Court and accommodated future space needs. The facility also houses the Register of Deeds and Security and Juvenile services. The new construction also connected both of the courtroom buildings originally constructed in 1958 and 2000 into a joined and internally connected building. On-site construction consisted of abatement and demolition, storm drainage, utilities, site improvements, paving, landscaping, and fencing. Strategic coordination and phasing allowed this project to be delivered ahead of schedule to meet the client’s urgent need for new court space.
