ECU Family Medicine Center
The ECU Family Medicine Center is a 3-story state-of-the-art facility located on the Health Sciences Campus of East Carolina University. The facility includes 60 exam rooms and three labs as well as departmental space for radiology and physical therapy. Additional features include seven classrooms, six private conference rooms, large auditorium, administrative suites and the Monk Geriatric Center which includes a geriatric clinic that services nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout Eastern North Carolina. The project included the complete site development, construction of the cast-in-place concrete foundation, steel superstructure, brick veneer and glass curtain wall exterior system, electrical system and mechanical modification to the central energy plant to support the entire Health Sciences Campus of the university.
