Danny Talbott Cancer Center at UNC Nash Health Care
The Danny Talbott Cancer Center at Nash UNC Health Care measures 11,000 square feet and offers comprehensive care to cancer patients in Eastern North Carolina. The new facility includes current treatment services such as radiation and infusion chemotherapy along with supporting navigation, nutrition and social work services with 12 semiprivate chemotherapy bays and a pharmacy area. The medical oncology suite features nine exam rooms and a procedure room and for radiation, with the treatment suite utilizing two linear accelerators as well as a CT simulator for dosimetry.
DETAILS: The approximately 11,000-square-foot healthcare project includes radiation treatment rooms, infusion therapy areas, CT imaging, patient exam rooms, waiting areas, pharmacy space, and support services designed to enhance the patient experience.
SCOPE OF WORK: Barnhill completed both renovation and new construction for the cancer center, including specialized treatment suites, medical imaging spaces, infusion areas, interior finishes, mechanical and electrical systems, and site improvements tailored for healthcare delivery.
