Coastal Credit Union Project Wins 2025 Pinnacle Award
Barnhill Building Group is honored to receive the 2025 Carolinas Association of General Contractors Pinnacle Award for our work on the Coastal Credit Union Headquarters project in Raleigh, NC. Alongside pinnacle partners Precision Walls and Triple-R Electric, this award was achieved with hard work and high standards. The Coastal Credit Union Headquarters Renovation responded to post-pandemic workplace evolution by transforming a fully occupied corporate headquarters into a modern, collaborative environment that encourages employee connection and productivity. Spanning more than 150,000 square feet across six active floors, the renovation reimagined circulation, workspace design, and amenity spaces while the building remained in continuous operation. A defining goal was to create indoor-outdoor integrations that support flexibility and wellbeing. The scope included open office areas, a variety of collaboration spaces, meeting rooms, and signature “communicating stairways” that connect levels without forcing occupants into corridors.
